Site Supervisor

What you'll do

• Supervise daily construction activities at the site.
• Ensure work execution as per approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site supervisors.
• Monitor work progress and report to the Project Manager.
• Manage site materials, tools, and manpower efficiently.
• Take site measurements and assist in billing and quantity calculations.

Quality, safety & compliance

• Ensure quality control and compliance with construction standards.
• Maintain daily site reports, progress reports, and documentation.
• Enforce safety rules and ensure proper use of safety equipment.
• Identify site issues and provide technical solutions.
• Coordinate with consultants and inspectors during site visits.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and local authority requirements.

What you'll bring

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (or a relevant discipline).
• 3–10 years of experience in construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
• Drawing & BOQ fluency — you read and interpret them confidently.
• Basic MS Office and AutoCAD (preferred).
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Work environment

• Full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
• Flexibility when it counts — may require extended working hours based on project needs.
